can't do anything to a video file

so i have a video that i'd like to delete but i can't do anything to it, it doesn't let me play it, move to another folder, delete, copy, anything at all....when i right click the options i have (which dont work) are :
-play
-add to sync list
-add to burn list
-add to now playing list
-add to playlist
-play with media player
-open with...
-send to->

so i have XP and its supposed to open with VLC media player

anyone have any idea's???

where did you get this video file from ?
