Hi:

I'm trying to deploy Office XP though computer group policy, i've assigned

domain users but nothing happens.

What am i doing wrong?

Thanks in advanced...

Are you deploying the application to computers ? If so, give the Everyone
Security group access to the administrative point.

Once again....You should take a look at the "Application" event log and see
if there are any errors when the computer is started and GPO processing is
being applied. This is usually a good place to start to find the problem.
If you do have some errors in the log, post them so we can try and help ya
out!

A potentially much better idea would be to give
the "Domain Computers" group read permissions at both the
Share and NTFS level on the Administrative Share. That
might be Step 1...

Another thing to consider would be how you applied the
GPO. And did you use the UNC path when telling the GPO
how to getto data1.msi ( vs using a mapped network
drive )?

You can take a look at GPOTools and/or GPRESULTS to get a
good idea of what is going on.

HTH,

Cary
