I have some stuff from run, that seems to be permanent, i
would like to know how to delete these items. thanks.

Please provide a list of the items you wish to delete.

You mean the START --> RUN window is listing the most recent applications
that you have run from it and you wish to clear them before your
wife/girlfriend discovers them?

Right click the task bar, then click PROPERTIES --> START MENU -->
CUSTOMIZE --> CLEAR LIST
