I tried that. The spooler stopped. The 2-byte file was
still in the spooler and XP told me I couldn't access it
because the spooler was stopped. Catch 22, eh?
Found two more messages with same problem on another Tech
Support web site. No answers yet. Seems to be hinging on
the "debuglog.log" process that won't terminate when we
reboot. No one can find any reference to "debuglog.log" in
any searches of either Google or Microsoft.
