I checked my computer and found one component named Windows NT Messenger and
deleted that. I did a search for Windows Live and found two files:
logo_windowslive.gif and
http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/all...iTXT.asp?ipid=
I have NOT deleted those.
I ran gpedit.msc and enabled "Do not allow Windows Messenger to be run" and
"Do not automatically start Windows Messenger initially".
I then rebooted and "Microsoft Websites" still shows up in my Favorites menu
on Windows Explorer.
Any other suggestions?
