Hello Joe,
Two things for you to try:
1. Run chkdsk
2. Use IE to move your internet cache to another location
I suggest chkdsk because it could be a problem in the Master File Table
(MFT) and I suggest moving the internet cache because you might have
installed a 3rd party program that is doing something to the cache.
