I have a user who uses a certificate to sign on to a secure web site. He is
prompted to choose a certificate from a list of seven. Most have expired, but
when he goes to Tools, Internet Options, Content, his Certificate button is
grayed out. I've added him to the Local Admins group on the computer, but he
still can't delete them. Any suggestions?

If the Certificates button is greyed out, see if there's a registry
restriction in place as mentioned here:

Beyond the Certificates button, there could be more, related restrictions in
