I have XP home edition. Never had trouble with deleting docs in print
queue. Not a new printer or new compputer. Now it locks up and I can't
delete, bBasically shutting down printer. I have hp officejet 5500. I've
turned off and came back next day and the doc is still in the print queue
saying "deleting". Can anyone help me? I'm not networked.

maybe deleting the printer might help, then reboot with your printer
unconnected...

driver may have crashed or settings are wrong, so reinstalling the driver
may be necessary.

Unplug the printer for about 5 minutes. The memory will clear and the
document will be gone.

Unplug the printer from the AC for about 5 minutes. The memory will clear
and the
document will be gone.
