Hi,

I have win2k advanced server set up to store desktop items
on the server from client accounts. When the user deletes an item
from the desktop the next time the user logs in the item reappears.
Why ?

It isn't really clear to me what you want accomplish with the first. It
sounds to me that you store the desktop items on the server so that when a
user deletes a shortcut, the shortcut will return when they log in again....
