i have 2 messages waiting in the outbox to go. they won't leave and i can't
delete them and start over. at times other mail has left. but these are
stuck. indication is that outlook has already begun transmitting the message
but... ...it won't finish. it isn't connecting to the server to send with
only them in the outbox.

- Click on File -> Work Offline and then restart Outlook.
- Once you've done this, try to move the messages from your Outbox to your
Drafts folder.
- Once they are in your Drafts, go to the File menu and uncheck Work
Offline.
- Open each message in your Drafts and send them again.

See if this gets the messages out.
