Can't delete 2 files

I have a folder I am trying to delete but there are 2 files that will
not delete.

1 is 1KB and the other shows as zero KB.

If I right click on them I don't even get the option to delete,
rename, cut, copy etc. If I hit the delete key nothing happens

It's like Explorer thinks they're not there but still shows them.

If I try to delete the folder they're in I get a strange message
saying the folder contains items whose name is too long for the
recycle bin - do I want to delete it permanently.

If I say yes I then get told access is denied, make sure the disk is
not full or they are write protected etc.

I can't check if they are write protected as I don't have the
Properties option when I right-click on them.

HELP......

What are the names of the folder and the two files? What is the location
(ex. C:\Program Files\name-of-folder)?

1. What is the virus/malware status of the machine? If you think it is
clean, how did you determine this? Be sure:

2. If the machine is clean, see these links:
