Can't create Offline Database

I've seen other posts with this issue, but can't find any answers.

I am running Outlook 2007 with BCM and SQL2005. I can connect to the server just fine, but when I want to create an offline database it hangs up and I get a message that it can't complete the requested action. However, I used to have an offline database, so this worked at one point. I've turned off my firewall, made sure that the folder wasn't write protected, made sure the SQL server was running, etc. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled BCM. Nothing seems to work. The strange thing is, sometimes it will create an offline database but it's 4G!

Any thoughts on what to do to get the offline database fixed?
