I recently had problems with Outlook 2007 and had to reinstall Office 2007
and rebuild the registry. Now, everything works great except that I cannot
create a new folder in Outlook. I get a "Outlook cannot read the registry
information" message.

This is a bother because I'm a compulsive pigeonholer of information. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You get this error when doing what?
What did you do to the registry in the first place?

Sounds like you deleted registry keys you shouldn't. Run an Office
Diagnostic and see if it can fix itself. If not you can also do a System
Restore.

Hi Robert,
Thanks for your reply. I get the error when I try to create a new folder in
Outlook mail. I'll try the Diagnostic.
Thanks again
Bill
