Can't Create an mde

's Computer Specifications

I have Access 2003. I want to create an mde. I load up the database that I
want to create an mde of. However, the option to create an mde file is faded
out. Please advise.

's Computer Specifications

Make sure that your database is in the Access 2002/2003 file format (the
default for Access 2003 is the Access 2000 file format). Look under Tools |
Database Utilities | Convert Database. If you've got the option to convert
it to the Access 2002/2003 file format, convert it.

Access 2003 cannot convert an MDB into an MDE if it's in the Access 2000
file format.
