Cant create hyperlinks in Outlook 2002

I tried to copy and paste a url from the web into an email, and the hyperlink
does not work. It just comes up as plain text. The email is set to HTML. This
worked last week, but no it does not.

If i type in some text, right click and choose Hyperlink.... nothing
happens. Is there something wrong with the settings somewhere?
