Win XP Pro SP2 Dell Optiplex 270 - PC was originally set up on workgroup.
Within network, there are a couple of computers on the workgroup vs domain
and they are able to connect to and use shared files on the Domain Server.

Problem is I want to connect this PC to a copier which is set up on the
domain. When I go to MY COMPUTER and use the CHANGE process to connect the pc
to the domain, I get the following message:

Error Connecting to Domain
Multiple connection to server shared resource by same user, using > 1 user
name are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connection to server or shared
resource and try again.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a map drive to a server on the domain? If you do you need to
disconnect the map drive before you can join the domain.

My apology for not getting back sooner. I do not think so but will check.
This is newly installed XP O/S. Thanks for the help.
