I have net-zero,3 weeks ago it wouldn't connect,I can
hear it dial a couple of #,then it comes up connection
failed.I've checked the connection and it's enabled,the
modems test shows it's working, connection good in the
device manager, and when I set it to dial a home fax,it
connects,ok.So I take it my modems working. After talking
to zero's support(to the tune of $40)they say it's a
hardware problem.Dell say's it's zero's software.Tried
uninstall zero,then reinstall,ran ad-aware,spybot S+D(up
to date the last time I was connected. It sounds like it
only dials 4 or 5 # when it dials out, shows the whole
local # dialed.Q:Is there a setting that I need to change
to get connected,or something in the registry I need to
delete when reinstall zero,or anybody have this problem
in the past?
P.S.I live in the boonnies, another ISP would be a last
option,sat.no cable,unless I run the last 8 miles
myself,and DSL not offered.LOL hahahah not AOL.Thought
bout Walmart, but would like to give this zero one last
chance.All help is greatly appreciated.TIA!
