I checked the MSI site (mobo manufacturer), not much detail
on the LAN adapter. It's an onboard chip that comes with
the mobo, I'm going to try updating the drivers and if
there's still no joy, I'll disable the onboard LAN and try
a PCI card adapter. I'll let you know what happens.
Also, I tried "ipconfig.exe" and all I get is a brief
flicker of some kind of window, then back to my desktop!
