I have a new XP workstation. I am trying to create a
drive mapping to D$ to the new XP machine from a W2K
machine. I have it setup in a workgroup and I have the
same account created in all the machines.

I have File and Print Sharing installed and I have
network connectivity because I am able to map a drive to
the W2K from the XP workstation.

Does anyone have an idea what I am missing?

Thanks,
Bri

First guess: you have ICF enabled on the XP PC; if so, disable
it since ICF inhibits F&P sharing.

That is not it. I thought it was my personal Firewall,
but I disable it and I still have the same issue.

Thanks,
Brian

No. I have password as the password for all machines.
Once I get all the shares connected I was going to change
them to a complex password.
