Hi Andy,
Thanks for your reply. I read your other thread, but the
difference is, I am not on a network! Just one ornery pc
that doesn't want me to check my email...I had thought of
the clean install, had hope to manage the problem without
doing that.
Another potiential problem though that may be
related?...When I enter "ipconfig" at my command prompt,
I get NO ip address! I get the message, "bad command" or,
sometimes it will say, "windows 2000 pro" and that's it.
No ip addy. Could that be part of the problem?
