I am using outlook web access and everything works fine except email
composition. When I try to compose or reply, the window where you would type
contains that small red X in the top left corner. Any ideas on what's going
on there? I can successfully type emails from every other computer I have
tried.

You should post this in an Exchange group as OWA is a part of Exchange, not Outlook. microsoft.public.exchange.clients is a good place to start.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.

After furious head scratching, Heather asked:

I'm experiencing, and have spoken with at least two others who are
experiencing, the very same issue. My issue only presents itself when I'm
trying to access OWA on my company's Exchange 2003 Server from my new laptop
loaded with Vista and Office 2007. I can access OWA but I can't reply to or
forward e-mails with comments nor can I create a new message. Problem
doesn't exist when I access OWA from my old laptop with XP and Office 2003.
MS technical support was of no help. Saw a posting of this problem as far
back as October 2006, yet no patch/hot fix still and not technical
explanation from MS that I have been able to find.

That is exactly my problem. Thanks for your comment. If I figure anything
out, I will gladly share it. So frustrating!
