Can't collect information

Hi,

I recently installed Windows XP on my laptop. Upgraded
BIOS. Now I cannot access the Windows management
instrumentation software. I cannot see my laptop system
information. Any help. In the event log error the source
is "userenv" and the ID 1090. No explanation given in
Microsoft website. please Help. Thanks.
