When trying to remove a duplicate folder name from the navigation pane I
receive the message "The operation failed. An object could not be found". How
can I remove this folder?

Is it a top-level folder (i.e. the root of a mailbox or personal folders) or
a subfolder?

It is a top-level folder but not the main data folder

The easiest way to fix the issue of "ghost" .PST files is to create a new
mail profile from scratch. You can do this via Control Panel | Mail | Show
Profiles.
