Just a few days ago I noticed I couldn't click on any search results. If I
right click on it I can open it up in a new window, but it will not let me
left click the results, how do I fix this?

A click normally highlights the object. Are you saying you can't click
and drag the file elsewhere? Or you can't double-click the file to open?

When you right-click an item, "Open" should be in bold. If that isn't
the case, those associations could be corrupted. If this only happens
with a couple types of files, try the following.

Fix File Associations.

To repeat: When you right-click an item, "Open" should be in bold. Is
it? This is a test, not a lifestyle change.

But now I'm wondering if you're referring to a browser search rather
than a Windows search. What search engine, what browser is this
happening with?

I still think you need to repair the file associations for url and htm
files.
