I am new AD, and have DCPROMO'd a server to a DC. My old users
accounts are now domain accounts.

Although I can edit just about everything to do with each account, I
can't edit the DESCRIPTION shown in the list of users (next to user
name).

How do I modify the description field? I don't see that field on any
of the tabss.

Hello Mike,
Click the Organization Tab, You will find the description field there.
