i have windows messenger 4.7, when i sign on it shows my emeal address. how
do i change it to just my name. it tells me to go to options then personel.
then where it says my .net service display name, it says type in the name you
want people to see but it wont let me type anything

This usually means that your e-mail address isn't verified. If you'd like a new verification
e-mail sent to
you, simply go here:
https://memberservices.passport.net/...enger.msn.com/
Sign in to Passport when prompted, then click the "Confirm Now" button and then the "Send
Message" button.
