I have never had any problem setting hyperlink colors using the page
properties dialog box - until now. I have changed them this way on a page and
they just won't change - not in preview, and not after publishing.

On the same page, they were once blue and I changed them to dark red because
of a picture. Now because the customer wants a different picture, they need
to be bright red to show up. But they still show as the dark red.

I am baffled.

The best way to it would be with CSS. Then you can have as many different
hyperlink colors and styles as you want on a page.

Thanks, but I am not a pro. I only have 3 sites and don't have the need,
desire, or time to learn CSS.

Some of the links are in absolute positioned tables, if that makes any
difference. But they were there when I changed the color before.

Check your actual links to make sure you have not applied another font color to them

Maybe we are getting closer. I changed the links to "automatic" and they all
stayed the dark red except an external link which was bright red. I reset
using the dialogue box to be blue and they all stayed dark red except the
external link which is blue.

This is being developed as a subsite of my own site and maybe that has
something to do with it?
