I can't change the Home Page on Internet Explorer. When I go to Internet
Options, General the Address and Icon Buttons for Home Page are in shadow.
All of the other functions under General work fine.

I've tried clicking on the make this my hompage at various web sites but it
won't change anything.

I normally use Netscape 7.1 for my browser but I would like to be able to
set a home page for MSN IE too.

Thanks,

Bob

Have you installed Spybot S&D or something similar recently.
These programs have a function that locks the home page change from
within IE. Try changing from internet options in control panel.

Tools | Internet Options | Programs | Reset Web settings. That'll do it.

Start regedit, expand and highlight the following keys and look in the right
window for "HomePage". If you find it, delete it. You may have to restart
the computer for the change to take effect.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel
