Can't change email address

Sorry to post in this group, but I can't solve this any other way. My email
is coming to my new address, but I can't seem to find how to change my email
in the log in procedure. I have to use my old email address to log in. Do I
have to re-register or is there a way to change it?

You forgot to tell us what email program you use or if you use webmail
to read your messages. Repost with a more clear explanation of what
you're doing and you're end goal and include the missing details.

I use Eudora to send and receive, but I don't see how that relates to the
problem. All I am trying to do is change my email address in the forum so
that I can log in with it instead of using the old email address.

Are you talking about your login to this website (PCreview)?

You can only change the e-mail address attached to your PCReview account not the login name of your account. You will more than likely have to create a new account.

Well you never even MENTIONED the word "forum" in your original post.
You do realise that the web interface to these newsgroups is probably the
WORST way you can access them?
Try a news reader instead. there are several free ones available - if you
are on XP or Vista you already have one installed - Outlook Express on XP
and Windows Mail on Vista.

See this on how to set up Outlook express as your news reader: (I expect
Windows mail and News is horribly similar....)

I asked for more details because it was unclear to me what you were
doing and what you wanted to do. That's usually why people who are
trying to help posters ask for clarification.

I can't help you with the web interface because I would never use it. It
is dreadful. Gordon has already pointed you to the solution - to use a
real newsreader. This is very easy to set up. Here are more details
about why this is not a forum and what to do about issues with the MS
newsgroups:

Since you are using the web interface, you may not realize that this is
really a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you
learn to use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows,
but you can use Outlook Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista) since you
already have it. Here are some links to information about newsgroups:

Oh, and now you're asking about logging into a forum rather than how
to actually log into an e-mail account? What forum are you talking
about? This "forum". This is a newsgroup in Usenet despite Microsoft
providing a webnews-for-dummies gateway to it. If you have to
register to use that forum or webnews-for-dummies gateway then that is
what you have to use to login to continue using that old "forum"
account. It has nothing to do with your actual e-mail accounts
(beyond perhaps the initial registration confirmation e-mail sent to
you to complete the registration process). It is just a string of
characters. You can either continue logging into the "forum" under
that old e-mail string or you can delete or abandon that old account
and create a new one using your new e-mail address.

So is it Microsoft CDO (their "community" webnews-for-dummies gateway)
with which you are having problems? When you click the SignIn button,
is it refusing to let you login under your new e-mail address? If it
is not an MSN or Hotmail e-mail address, did you register your
non-Microsoft e-mail address with Passport (aka Windows Live ID)? I
suspect the signup procedure for creating a new Windows Live ID
account will have a confirmation e-mail sent to the e-mail address
that you specified when creating that account, so you will have to
click the link in that confirmation e-mail when you receive it to
complete the registration for a Windows Live ID account.

Hint: You log-in to the newsgroup web access using your Live.com ID.

Pricks like you are irritating.

Perhaps that's your intention due to being picked last for dodgeball in
the third grade.

All of us aren't born with internet savvy as you apparently were.
