cable goes from antenna on the roof straight to the PC through a splitter.
There is no cable box.
There is one other thing though. I used to have a different tuner card
installed in
the system which didnt work out for different reasons. I unsinstalled it
and all the
software with a special program that hauppauge provided.
After that i installed the visiontek 550 and for a while things worked until
the
problem appeared.
