My system is win xp SP2 with all the updates installed.
Have Visiontek Theater 550 Pro installed and Beyond TV.
When I try to change the channel lets say from 11
To channel 5 the channel 11 is still being displayed.
With all other channels I don't experience the same problem.
I tried reinstalling the driver and the program. Also tried the card
With different 3-rd party tuner applications and got same results.
On different machine however I managed to change the channels
Successfully.

Originally channel change worked on the first machine as well but then
Suddenly this problem developed.

Any suggestions are welcome

Where is the channel being changed? Is it a set-top-box? What IR Blaster.

I'd suggest you'd get better support at forums.snapstream.com

i just use my keyboard to change it. It's an internal TV Tuner card.

I put focus on the application and press '5'.
Channel changes but video/audio is still of channel 11

Tell us more about your configuration. How is the computer connected to the
video source. Is the Cable TV cable going straight into the PC or through a
cable box. The more you tell us, the more we can help.

cable goes from antenna on the roof straight to the PC through a splitter.
There is no cable box.

There is one other thing though. I used to have a different tuner card
installed in
the system which didnt work out for different reasons. I unsinstalled it
and all the
software with a special program that hauppauge provided.
After that i installed the visiontek 550 and for a while things worked until
the
problem appeared.

Have you re-run the BTV setup wizard? Shut down BeyondTV and rerun the
wizard. Make sure you tell it about both tuners (the 550 is dual tuner,
isn't it?)

Well, I'm at a loss. As I suggested, try Snapstream's forums.
