I'm trying to convert and save my VHS-C videos. I have a
Sony PCV-RS430G. Every time I hook up my Panasonic video
camera to the jacks (2 a yellow and a white), strat movie
maker by clicking on "Capture from Video Device," I get
an message that says, "A video capture device was not
detected. Verify that a device is turned on and
connected properly, then try again." Is there something
I'm missing (hardware, software, or both)? Please help!
Thanks in advance.

Check the Importing Source Files > Video > Intro page of my website.... it
has a link to Sony's VAIO Village Forum, probably a good starting point with
your VAIO.
