can't browse certain websites

Please help, I Dont know much about computers, but all of a sudden i am
not able to browse skysports.com. i put this in my address bar but it
starts loading and a white page appears, sometimes it says done at the
bottom, but most of the time it says could not connect to server, i
have tried turning my firewall off but this does not help and am using
internet explorer 7, windows xp, and a dsl connection. Any suggestions
please!
