Anyone seen this one? Slow Toshiba laptop with XP and IE 6. When it first
boots up I can browse. After about 10 mins I can't browse, but I can ping IP
addresses, can even ping URL's so DNS is resolving. In fact, when I bring up
a browser I can see that it solves DNS down in the status bar.

I've taken off a lot of spyware. Can't find a thing now. About 27
proceesses running and nothing suspicious. Ran CWShredder, AdAware, SpyBot,
AboutBlaster, HiJackThis..... Looks very clean.

I downloaded Firefox, same EXACT symptoms.

Anyone?

One thing I would do is look at the startups to see if there are any
suspicious entries. Autoruns can list practically everything, but I still
need something to tell me whether an entry is OK or not, so I use this site.
