I need help with backing up files...can't find it under
system tools, control panel, etc...

It sound like you have XP Home version. Backup is not installed by default
on Home. You need an XP Home version CD and manually install it from
\VALUEADD\MSFT\NTBACKUP directory. No XP Home CD? Then take this link
