Can't add some authors to junk mail

I have noticed that for some messages the option to add to junk mail list is
grayed out.
This seems to be (usually at least) on messages that are coming in with
'egghead' in the signature bottom line.
Does egghead.com have some secret handshake that prevents adding its users
to junk mail lists?

"Junk" as defined in Windows Mail applies to email only.
The message you saw with egghead.com in the signature was probably
a newsgroup post. You can't add newsgroup posts to the junk email filter.
You can, however, block posts from an unwanted newsgroup poster.

Gary,
However on these egghead posts the 'add sender to blocked sender list' is
grayed out.

Very strange. I'll have to try it the next time I see a post from
an egghead.com poster.

OK, I confirmed it. When the signature has:

"EggHeadCafe.com - .NET Developer Portal of Choice
http://www.eggheadcafe.com"

you can't add it to the Blocked Sender list.
This is because the From field does not contain a complete email address.
There's something deficient about the eggheadcafe.com NNTP posting software.

Gary,
So that is how to keep people from putting me in their 'blocked troll/idiot
list'!

Thanks for confirmation
Michael
