Can't add machines to local groups?

It seems that XP doesn't support adding machines to local groups via
Computer Management/Local Users and Groups. This is supported in W2K (you
can add MachineName$) and in W2K3 (by expanding the Object Types to include
Computers). XP does support adding machines to local groups via the "net
localgroup" command, however.

Is there some way to enable adding machines to local groups via Computer
Management in XP?

Thanks.
