I downloaded a free trial of big city adventure-sf and everything worked
fine. I then purchased the game but at first I received "can't connect to
internet" followed by "unknown internal error". I have deleted temporary
files. reset and even disabled fire wall. gave full internet access to
software in mcafee disabled windows defender, uninstalled and redownloaded
game. made sure "proxy was not checked" in network connections, restarted
computer. rebooted modem and router. Now I only get the "unknown internal
error" the game's software help and support states this is a restricted user
issue with windows xp. I am signed on as adminstrator. don't have secondary
users in windows. does anyone have any suggestions. running windows xp with
mcafee security suite with comcast cable internet connections.

You're stuck in the middle of a pass the blame game betwixt
McAfee/Comcast and where you bought the game.
The McAfee version supplied by Comcast is *worth less* than it's free
price since you can not download McAfee but *must* install it while online.

If you contact Comcast with this issue they'll try to direct you to the
site where you downloaded the game. If you contact that site, they'll
try to send you back to Comcast.

So ... if you want to play the game you've purchased then uninstall the
crap McAfee version that is installed, run McAfee's removal tool to
remove all traces of it, and then install a free AV, such as AntiVir or
Avast.

McAfee Removal tool page with instructions:
http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS100507

AntiVir free:
http://www.free-av.com/en/download/1...antivirus.html

Avast free:
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

Or, keep running around in the corporate maze where blame is passed off
from one company to another. At least you'll know how a hamster feels
running on that wheel in it's cage. <w>
