Go to C:\Windows\System32 Folder. Look for Cleanmgr.exe, Chkdsk.exe
and dfrg.msc These are the tools that
would be accessed through Prop Dialog Box. You could try going to
Start>Run type: sfc /scannow Have your
WinXP CD in the Cdrom drive. This will do a check of your system
files. You can do a chkdsk by clicking on cmd.exe
when in System32 Folder. Then at prompt type: chkdsk.exe /F You
will probably get a message to do it on next
Startup. Say yes or type Y.
