Mysteriously, for at least a week I've been unable to access Netflix. I've
flushed the dns using the cmd, ipconfig /flushdns. It hasn't helped. I have
checked for malware using ad-aware, spybot, spysweeper, spyblaster, and all
the Host files are set properly. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Are you related to Andrew E.? What in the world does "free up some space on
your hd for that website" mean?

andrew who?

ccleaner(freeware) - hd(low disk space) = possible solution.

info on cmd, ipconfig /flushdns can be obtained
from the intuitive op.

You've been around this this newsgroup for some time. Surely you must have
seen some of the posts by a fellow using the name Andrew E. His posts are
at the least non sensical, and at the worst dangerous.

Why would someone need to run ccleaner just to free up hard drive space?
Not to say that ccleaner doesn't work ok, but why is that program necessary
here? And why is hard drive space an issue here? Without knowing
specifically that his system is short on space hard drive space why suggest
that without asking? Is this the shotgun approach?

The response makes no sense.

If you're going to suggest a program how about giving the person a link to
it? Another question - why do all your posts have a format of only a
couple of words per line? No punctuation, no capitalization or sentence
structure? It's very similar to Andrew E though his posts have full text
lines and one of his characteristics is no spaces between sentences and
between some words.

Lastly, what is "info on cmd, ipconfig /flushdns can be obtained from the
intuitive op." supposed to mean?

Usually, one of these helps:

1) check for a file called host (no suffix). If you have it, open with
notepad and remove any reference to netflix and save it.

2) delete all internet history, cookies and temporary files and form data..

3) disable (temporarily) all firewalls, norton internet security, etc.

4) do a file search for netflix and delete all references.

5) do a registry search for netflix and delete all entries.

Get back if that doesn't work.

If you have a host file delete it.
