When I receive an email message with a hyperlink, I get a message that "This
application has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer. Contact
system administrator." My network administrator says there is nothing being
restricted by them. I have looked in Tools, Account Settings and Options but
can't find where it is being restricted. Any ideas?? I am using Windows XP
Professional, SP3 and Outlook in Office2007. Thanks

This just happened to me. It started when my antivirus detected to separate
trojan threats trying to come thru Google Toolbar. My son had loaded Chrome
and Toolbar without our knowledge. When I got the message from my antivirus I
immediately uninstalled both Chrome and Google Toolbar. That is when the
problem arose. I tried the IE8 reset, the registry fix related to IE but no
help. That is when I read the note from Diane Poremsky which was the correct
fix. The registry entry listed the default .html as Chromehtml. After
changing it to htmlfile and rebooting, all is back to normal. BTW the OS is
Vista 64 and Outlook is 2007.

That would produce an instant deletion of his account, or a setting of the
account to Limited in my house.
