I am trying to setup two home computers to share files,
printers, etc. on a home network. I have a wireless
router with a wired desktop and a wireless notebook
connected to it. Both work fine for the internet. When
I run the network setup wizard, I am able to set the
desktop up so that it can access the network, and it can
see the names of both computers. However, if i try to
access the notebook from the desktop, it says that the
notebook can't be found. Also, I can't even open the
network to see the available computers on the notebook.
I am pretty sure that the issue is somewhere on the
notebook, I just don't know where. Any suggestions?

J

check if you have File and Printer Sharing enabled on the
notebook. you can find it in control panel/network
connections
