I just split our database using the access wizard and it is working fine on
the hard drive where it resides, but I have copied the front end to other
computers and it won't open from the other computers, and also I can't open
the front end over the LAN, even though all other files are opening fine. I
don't get an error message, it just doesn't open.

What does "won't open" mean? Are you getting an error? If so, what's the
error?

Front-ends should always reside on each user's hard drive. You should never
try and open front-ends across the LAN.

Pat,

On the other computers do they have the same drive letter/path to the
back-end?
