It's been many months since I updated my web site and in the interm I have
upgraded to IE7 and made several windows updates. I recently had a problem
with a trojan vundu which is now fixed.

The FP problem I am having is that when trying to open my web page I get an
error message "there is no server on port 80 at 'your-erdmfhmp8/my name' If I
try to create a new page by importing my page from the server I get a no
server on port 80 error mesage again.

I am able to open my web page in my browser, so what gives?

Make sure that the FrontPage Server Extensions are installed on the server.

I realize that you have to start at the basics, and I'm sure there is a way
for me to have my web page already on the server and for my ISP to dump the
FP extensions off the server, but that dosent seem to be the problem.

I have in the interm discovered that if I turn my norton firewall off I can
access my web page. I have it set to allow FP to make all conections but
still no go with norton firewall turned on. Windows firewall was allready
turned off.

If you have any ideas I would really appriciate any info, but it looks like
the ball is now in semantecs court.

Thanks
