Have reinstalled WindowsXP (Home) and in trying to reinstall Norton Internet
Security I get a drop down box >Installer Information< "Internal Error 2335
C:\Windows\Installer\D:\NIS. Hope someone out there can help on this.

Probably because the old one wasn't completely removed. Look here:
http://www.symantec.com/search/
Put "Internal Error 2335" in the search box and it brings up a few articles
on it.
