Does anyone use or knowledge of the Canon Color 210? Have one that
will not print out in black, only comes up with light gray. Installed
new cartridge, no better. Cleaned also, no better.

Try changing the darkeness setting in the printer driver

Will try that, but think I already did. Would trying to find a later driver
help? Using the one that came with printer. It hasn't been used for awhile,
so maybe it's dried out? Have tried cleaning it, no help there.

Checked driver properties and dug a little deeper, changed some things I
didn't even know were there, and have it working now.
