I recently bought some bulk formula labs ink for my S750 (I don't know
why, because the cartriges that came with the printer have lasted me a
year). Before puting the new cartriges in the printer, I printed a
whole bunch of pictures on plain paper to use up the last of the ink.
I then did a bunch of cleaning and printed 3 pictures with the new
cartriges. When comparing the same pictures with the two different
inks, I only seem to notice a difference in skin tone. It appears that
the new ink gives skin a more red look, or a less orange look (perhaps
too little yellow). This makes the canon ink picture appear more
vibrant. My question is, how do I correct this problem using either
the drivers colour management (icm files), or Adobe Photoshop?
Actually, I have noticed that the S750 has a bit of trouble recreating
colours. I would appreciate any information on correcting the skin
tone problem and improving colours.
Thanks,
Brian.
