Well it arrived this morning.......Before 8am and by CityLink!

Packages very well, lots of bubble wrap and in another box to keep it safe from the courier!
I have to say i would definitely use again or recommend Cameras2u.com to anyone, first class service. and cheap too!

No time to mess with it this morning, will have to bugger about with it tonight.

Right now i need a case as i forgot to order one at the time!

Will do.

You know, i knew it was gonna be small...but its really small, fits in the palm of me hand! It always amazes me how they can squeeze all that technology into such a small box!

The original thread was here, closed due to mucho off topico

Well theres no danger of me not liking it Quad!

Had a good play with all the settings and functions, not to mention reading all the manuals that come with it!
I clearly have more to learn than i first thought!!!

I took a few 'test shots' before it got dark last night and they look superb even in the auto mode!

One thing i did notice is the scope of things to play with in manual mode, compared to the old Sony. I think i was a bit nieve to think the new one would be just the same! But that means i got loads to learn and play with!

The one thing that did p**s me off was the crap 700mAh batteries they bundle with it, by the time i finished playing last night the battery low sign was blinking away like mad!!! But i got some nice 2700 rechargables to use in it, that should sort it right?

So to summarize, My first impressions are very good!

Yep, make sure they is Energizer brand, I have 2500s and they last quite some time ... top marks off the site Quad posted some time ago on bats.

Enjoy!
