Canon Pixma iP4200 won't communicate

Hello,
I bought and attached a Canon Pixma iP-4200 printer at a NAS-Server Synergy
DS-101.
Now, if I want print a message appear always and says that the communication
will not work and I am to switch bidirectionale communication on.
Bi-directional communication is however switched on.
Can someone help me?
