Whenever I try to print on this machine, the "alarm" light comes on and
blinks. It says to check printer or press "Stop". I check the printer and
everything *looks* ok, but have to press "Stop" to get the alarm light to go
off. When I try to do anything with the function keys, like check roller or
check cartridges, the "carriage" goes to the right and makes a grinding
noise and then the alarm light comes back on.
I've unplugged the unit and tried to let it "reset" itself, but it is to no
avail.
Anyone have any suggestions?
