Hi All,
I've got a Canon MP750 multi function printer, and have a slight problem
with it. All the coloured inks, and the 6Black work perfectly, but the
£Black cartridge, the thick one, doesn't print at all. I've tried cleaning
the head, refreshing the head and swapping cartridges out. I use compatible
ink but print regularly, it is a fairly sudden problem. I didn't print for
a week and now the 3Black is refusing to print.

has anyone got any suggestions to solve this?

Tanks for your help!

are you and have you always used the canon recommended ink. i never
have those problems using factory recommended supplies. not to say that
it can never happen for other reasons but if one looks at all of the
posting of all of the posters that have these types of problems generic
ink is the main problem.

Call Canon and get a new printhead.

Take Cari's advice, call canon. The mp750 is new enough that you
should be under warranty, and the scan to pdf function would make it
handy to scan your test sheets. Printheads are like lightbulbs with a
limited life.

If you are in the UK (noting the pound marker" electroversal is the
offical distributer
http://www.electroversal.com/

If you are out of warranty, try anyway, then someback for advice
regarding agressive cleaning techniques. As discovered recently Canon
is rather liberal regarding their warranty period.
